Richard M. Greenspan

Rick was admitted to the Bar in the State of California in 1974; the Bar of the State of New York in 1976; the Bar of State of New Jersey in 1978; and the Bar of the State of Connecticut in 1997. He maintains his status as an attorney in good standing in the New York bar. He earned a Bachelor's Degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo in 1971 (BA-Cum Laude); a Juris Doctor Degree (JD) from the University of San Diego School of Law in 1974; and an LLM Masters of Law Degree from New York University School of Law in 1978.

Rick has argued commercial and labor and employee benefit cases in the state and federal district courts in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, in the Appellate Divisions and Court of Appeals in New York, the federal district court in New Jersey, the Supreme Court of New Jersey and the DC Circuit Court of Appeals, the 2nd Circuit Court of Appeals, the 3rd Circuit Court of Appeals, the 11th Circuit Court of Appeals. He had been admitted to the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals in California and the Bar of the Supreme Court of the United States. He handled many hundreds of arbitration cases and appeared before the National Labor Relations Board (Regions 2, 29, 22, 7, 4, 3, 34, 12, and before Members of the Board in Washington, DC. Many of his cases became established and followed standards, often cited as precedential value. He was involved in cases at the New York Public Employment Relations Board; the New York State Employment Relations Board; the New Jersey Public Employment Commission, the Connecticut Public Employment Relations Board and the Connecticut Commission on Human Rights, the EEOC, the New York Division of Human Rights, and at the IRS in employee benefit plan tax matters as well as the US Department of Labor in connection with labor law and ERISA regulation often dealing with issues involving officer and/or trustee fiduciary duties. He is now a designated "neutral" Arbitrator on the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority's ("FINRA") arbitration panel and has been qualified to act as the Chairperson on FINRA arbitration panels. He has also qualified as an Arbitrator roster of the National Futures Association ("NFA") and is on the Nevada State Labor Board's panels of Arbitrators, Mediators and Fact-Finders. Rick has, during his career, represented and had often been General Counsel and/or Counsel to business entities, International Labor Unions, National Labor Unions, Local Unions, Union Divisions, Union Joint Boards, and multi and single employer Health, Welfare, Pension, Retirement and Apprenticeship Training Funds. He represented Unions and Employers in collective bargaining matters, in arbitration, in the courts and before administrative agencies such as the National Labor Relations Board. He regularly organized, conducted and participated in educational seminars and workshops held by many of his law firm's regular clients. Rick had been, for a number of years, an Adjunct Professor teaching labor law and labor related courses for students in the Master's Degree program, New School For Social Research Graduate School of Management, in New York City.

Rick was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York and now resides in Las Vegas, Nevada.
